Yeah, that’s right, She-Hulk!
This costume is based on his very first appearance in Detective Comics #27. He’s wearing purple gloves. Really? (And I’m aware that the belt buckle is not the original style. My apologies to the purists.) I originally drew this for the 100th birthday of Batman’s uncredited co-creator Bill Finger (1914-1974). Google him.
Jack KING Kirby 08.28.17-02.06.94
20 years ago today we lost probably the greatest comic artist of all time. To acknowledge this, I drew a small tribute for him. I always loved Galactus. I mean look at that helmet! Also in some of the early drawings he has this big G on his chest, which didn’t last, but I included it because it makes me smile. Long live the KING!
A Quiet Evening 2013
I made a daily comic this month. Here it is all-in-one post for Christmas or whatever you may or may not celebrate today.
Wednesday Addams 2013
I drew Wednesday Addams, then I colored her. Merry Christmas?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Another one of my inktober drawings in color. Thought it was appropriate for today in a darkly humorous kinda way.
Trick or Treatin’ with Friends 2013
Colored this for Halloween.
Pumpkin Brown 2013
Charlie Brown possessed by the Great Pumpkin!
I colored another one of my inktober drawings. As you can see.
I’m coloring my favorite inktober drawings I’ve done, so far. This is my third. Colortober, anyone?
The new issue of Hawkguy came out today. Since it had been awhile I decided to reread the first 12 issues to get myself reaquainted with the story. Doing that plus seeing the many Clint and Kate themed tumblr posts today, inspired me to make an attempt at drawing Kate Bishop in my personal favorite costume of hers.
The Caped Crusader 2013
Colored another inktober drawing.
Leaping Luchador 2013
I decided to color my favorite inktober drawing, so far.
Day 5 - inktober
Another inktober drawing. Love this guy. He just needs a name and a story.
"Hey, um, Supes? Maybe you should spend a little less time working on your upper body. Think you’ve gone as far as you could with that. Spread the focus around. Ya know what I’m sayin’? I mean don’t get me wrong, ya look great, but ya know balance is a good thing."
"What you’re feeling is called, "infatuation." The pain is the product of you overvaluing a projected, imaginary relationship with me."
I’m on a bit of an Adventure Time kick. This episode with the lovelorn Braco hit close to home. I related a bit too much to the poor guy.
